SecuritySpy uses the server name text (see above) as its Bonjour name. Note that if you have enabled the macOS firewall feature on the computer running SecuritySpy, this may prevent Bonjour from working properly. Each camera can use one or two of the audio device's channels. Using the left and right channel menus, you can select which channel on the device (numbered in the menu) is recorded to which channel in the captured movie (left or right). For example, if the audio device has 10 input channels and you want input 5 recorded to the movie as the left channel and input 6 recorded as the right channel, you would select 5 and 6 in these menus. Normally the object is to record people speaking, and this requires only mono (one channel) audio, in which case you should select "None" for the right channel. If you are using stereo audio (two channels), this doubles the size of the audio data, so use stereo only if you need to.
